FC TecNrgy has signed a strategic technology transfer agreement with FITT – Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer, IIT Delhi, for development and commercialization of XPLODER – an Unmanned Explosive Device and Surveillance Rover (UGV).
This innovative product, developed by Maj Rajprasad RS of the Indian Army, Corps of Engineers, is meant for disposing of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and ‘Room Intervention’ during counter terrorist operations as well as conventional Military operations, which will minimise casualties to soldiers and make such operations more efficient.
FC TecNrgy will work closely with the technology developer and FITT to further develop and refine the XPLODER, with the goal of bringing it to market and making it available to military and law enforcement agencies in India as well as other countries.

The signing ceremony was graced by Lt Gen NS Rajasubramani, Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS), ADG ( Army Design Bureau), Senior Officers from FITT ( IIT Delhi ) and Major Biju Balakrishnan ( Retd) Vice President from FC TecNrgy.
