The mission aims to position India as a global leader in the production, utilization, and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives. This mission will support India's objective of becoming self-reliant in clean energy, drive substantial decarbonization, reduce dependency on fossil fuel imports, and establish the country as a key player in green hydrogen technology and markets.
A decentralized fuel supply using green hydrogen and methanol is a key focus for all projects in India. The government's "National Green Hydrogen Mission" is a comprehensive support program, with an estimated investment of USD 44 billion by 2030. Likewise, low-power methanol fuel cells are well-suited for mission-critical applications across core sectors such as video surveillance, telecommunications, defense, homeland security, and oil, gas, and mining.
