FC TecNrgy Signs MoU with partner SFC Energy, AG Germany and Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to address India’s Sustainable Energy Needs

 

Delhi, September 07, 2021: FC TecNrgy Pvt Ltd (FCTec), SFC Energy-AG, Germany & Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL)  have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in addressing the emerging requirement of sustainable energy in India through supply of hydrogen and fuel cells.

 

Reliable and sustainable power supply is an area which has been a major challenge for the Indian security forces while operating in remote, high-altitude areas, deserts, island territories, Naxal affected areas and more. The partnership aims to jointly address the off-grid power needs of the country, including mission critical requirements of the Indian Armed Forces, Homeland Security agencies and a range of additional applications through highly proven and customized green energy solutions based on Fuel Cells.

 

The tie-up combines BEL’s engineering and large-scale production strengths with SFC’s outstanding expertise in Fuel Cells and FCTec’s system integration and installation know-how. The MoU is in line with the Government of India’s initiative for adoption of green energy solutions.
