Vice Chancellor of Germany Dr. Robert Habeck inaugurates SFC Energy India: Bilateral Collaboration with FCT Energy for Sustainability

 

 

 

20 July, 2023, Gurgaon : On a first ever state visit to India, the German Vice Chancellor, Dr. Robert Habeck, inaugurated the production facility of SFC Energy India on 20 July at Gurugram. SFC Energy India is a subsidiary of SFC Energy AG, Germany and shares its production facility with FC TecNrgy Pvt Ltd (FCT Energy) in sprawling 35,000 square feet premises in Gurugram.

 

A high-level delegation accompanied by the German Vice Chancellor and comprised eminent industry leaders and media. Dr. Habeck holds the portfolio of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection in the Scholtz Government. The tie-up between FCT Energy and SFC India is in consonance with the shared interests and initiatives of the Indian and German Governments towards economic collaboration, as well as climate change. The inaugural ceremony takes both companies a step closer to achieving their objective of migrating towards clean, ecologically and economically sustainable energy through partnership in clean energy technology.

FCT Energy and SFC Germany have been associated with each other for over seven years and are committed towards sustainability in energy sector through clean and ‘smart’ solutions. The joint venture aims at manufacturing Hydrogen and Methanol based fuel cells under the Make in India initiative at the ‘state-of-the-art’ production centre in Gurugram. This facility is one of its own kind in the country that enables R&D, designing, development, quality assurance, integration and installation of the systems which will be carried out by FCT Energy.
